Cost Saving Options

An organisation that embraces Continuous Improvement/Lean Thinking will acheive significant improvement of financial returns. 

For example, if an organisation focusses on machine set up times they can experience a 50% (or more) reduction which can either reduce labour costs or increase machine capacity using existing resources.

We do understand however that an organistion may need support while getting their Lean Journey underway.  We can provide support in several forms, namely:

We offer several cost saving options to reduce the cost of implementing a Continuous Improvement Program in your organisation, including:

Small Business Package

We offer a unique program suited to the needs of smaller businesses. The intention of the program is to minimise cost and the time impact on your limited resources. This program is typically suited to organisations with 15 or more employees.

Lean Collaboration

We also offer a program where several organisations in close proximately can undertake individual CI programs but agree to work collaborative where possible.  This could be through common training workshops etc.

There are several benefits to this approach including sharing of training costs and each others experiences.

Whether you are an individual organisation or an industry group we can facilitate access to any applicable government funding programs.

 Federal Government Funding

Currently up to $20,000 is available from the Federal Government through the Enterprise Connect program to clients across Australia(Subject to meeting a criterion).

The program is made up of two parts: A Free Business Review and the Tailored Advisory Service Funding.  Contours is an approved Tailored Advisory Service (TAS) provider. 

If you have already completed your Business Review we would welcome the opportunity to provide a TAS proposal for your review.

QLD Government Funding

If your organisation is operating in QLD and has 10 or more FTE's we can offer up to $8000 worth of training and/or consultancy for free as a result of the QLD State Government Program called Jobs Assist.

Stage 1 will provide up to $3000 to engage a consultant to conduct a complete Business Assessment and prepare an Action Plan.

Stage 2 provides up to $5000 to guide and support you to implement the activities in the Action Plan.
